Billy Bert Young
Billy Bert Young was born in London, Ontario in 1983. He graduated from H.B. Beal Secondary School in 2002, where he was introduced to the drawings and zines of Marc Bell and Jason McLean and the graffiti work of James Kirkpatrick (AKA Thesis Sahib).
In 2008 Billy graduated with a BFA from the Nova Scotia Collage of Art and Design in Halifax, NS. After graduating he moved back to London and began collaborating with like-minded artists.
He continues to create complex large-scale ink drawings, paintings and collage works. His work can be found in the collections of Museum London and Art Gallery of Ontario, among others.
